Mintcspark offers four photography disciplines with transparent scopes and honest deliverable timelines.
Most photography pricing pages list packages that were designed to be easy to sell rather than easy to use. We work differently. Before a quote goes out, we ask enough questions to understand the output format, the distribution channel, the timeline pressure, and the stylistic parameters. A half-day editorial portrait session in a controlled studio environment requires a fundamentally different equipment list, assistant configuration, and post-processing pipeline than a full-day wedding with mixed indoor and outdoor light. We scope both honestly. Deliverables are specified in writing before any booking is confirmed: file resolution, colour space, number of selects, retouching depth, and turnaround days.
Half-day or full-day studio and location sessions. Deliverables include 20–40 retouched selects in 16-bit TIFF and web-optimised JPEG, delivered within 10 business days. Suitable for press kits, author headshots, creative lookbooks, and personal branding. Hair and makeup coordination available on request.
8–10 hour coverage from getting ready through first dances. Two photographers for ceremonies of over 80 guests. Online gallery delivery within 4 weeks: 400–600 selects, full-resolution colour-graded JPEGs, private download link retained for 12 months. Engagement sessions available as add-ons.
Product, brand identity, and architectural shoots for agencies, startups, and established brands. Usage licensing specified per project. RAW capture with tethered live-view workflow for client review on set. Final delivery in camera-native resolution with colour profiles matched to your production pipeline.
Corporate conferences, gallery openings, and private events covered with single or dual shooter configurations. Highlights gallery delivered within 48 hours; full edited gallery within 5 business days. Experienced shooting under mixed and rapidly changing lighting — no flash-dependent look.
Weddings typically require 6–12 months' lead time, especially for May–September dates in British Columbia. Portraits and commercial projects can often be accommodated within 2–4 weeks depending on studio availability and crew requirements. Reach out early — we'll give you an honest timeline.
Yes, we shoot across BC and the Pacific Northwest regularly. Destination weddings elsewhere in Canada or internationally are handled case by case. Travel, accommodation, and per diem are billed at cost and itemised separately from the photography fee.
We factor weather contingency into every outdoor plan. For portraits and commercial work, we maintain a short-notice rescheduling window at no charge. For weddings, we prepare an indoor backup configuration and scout the venue for covered alternatives during the walkthrough.
All selects are delivered via a private online gallery with high-resolution download. Galleries are retained on our server for 12 months post-delivery. We strongly recommend downloading and backing up your files independently — our retention policy is a courtesy, not a long-term archive guarantee.
We don't operate an in-house print lab. For clients who want physical products, we partner with two professional labs in Vancouver and can coordinate album design, large-format prints, and framing. These are quoted separately and are entirely optional.
